First, decide with the patient whether you’ll be performing a pelvic exam. If you’re prescribing via telehealth or you’re not performing a pelvic exam, skip ahead to the next section.
Prescribing Yōni.Fit
No Pelvic Exam, No Problem
If you’re not performing a pelvic exam or you’re prescribing via telehealth, we offer two self-fitting kits.
Fit Kit 4 contains the three smallest sizes of Yōni.Fit, which fit most women. Start with prescribing Fit Kit 4.
If for any reason your patient isn’t finding a comfortable, effective fit with the sizes in Fit Kit 4, you can prescribe Fit Kit 5, which contains the next three sizes.
How to Prescribe Using an E-Prescribing System
Search for Yōni.Fit and select the Fit Kit containing the appropriate sizes. If you’re using an e-prescribing system and do not see Yōni.Fit listed in the pick-list, select DME and manually type in the correct Fit Kit or individual size.
If you are handwriting the prescription it must include which Fit Kit or individual size you’re prescribing. Please list all items in the prescription pad.
